Halton House is experiencing an upheaval of mammoth proportions and Evie, the Countess of Woodridge, finds herself in the middle of everyone’s squabbles and odd behavior. She hopes a change of scenery will provide a diversion while she and Tom Winchester investigate a case of some missing items, but havoc has followed her to the hunting lodge and instead of dealing with one mystery, she and Tom are caught up in a multitude of them.
